Alabama

Psi (University of Alabama)

Five brothers – Hayden Arsht, Zach Berlow, Jack Janko, Xander Matik, and Nathan Nislick –  completed the Tuscaloosa Half Marathon, raising an amazing $7,000 for The Manny Pargman Mental Health Education Fund. Nine brothers are on the President’s List and 30 more are on the Dean’s List from Fall 2024 – congratulations brothers!

Arizona

Alpha Omicron (University of Arizona)

Alpha Omicron Miracle Week began April 7, with a banner competition, dine to donate, dance competition and powder puff football. Twenty brothers were recognized for having a 4.0 GPA or higher in the fall term. A flag football team of brothers was intramural league champions.

Gamma Tau (Arizona State University)

Some brothers took part in the Pat Tillman memorial run around the ASU campus on April 13, supporting the foundation in his name. A shared Moms’ and Alumni weekend event was held in April. They hosted a Gift of Life swab drive late in the fall semester. More than 20 brothers were on the Dean’s List from fall.

Returning after a two-year hiatus, Gamma Tau had a philanthropy week with the theme Zero Bad Times. They partnered with Gift of Life Marrow Registry and Children Miracle Network Hospitals to organize a full week of events, raising more than $4,000.

California

Alpha Delta in Southern California

Alpha Delta is the fourth largest group in the University Park Interfraternity Council, with 158 brothers (median is 108). The Chapter has a cumulative 3.74 GPA. Last fall, they hosted Gift of Life representatives in the house where most brothers provided a cheek swab.

Alpha Eta (University of California, Berkeley)

Brothers love hiking, broomball, casual sports and cheering for Cal football. They are very involved on campus, including leadership for Jewish student organizations and several clubs related to their majors.

Alpha Rho (University of California-Los Angeles)

Brothers enjoy games, paintball, movies and water sports. In May the Chapter hosted a “Zeta Bunny Tau” petting zoo with rabbits, with proceeds supporting Children’s Miracle Network. Brother Nathan Shindich, 2027, is president at Jewish on Campus UCLA, the first west coast chapter of the community advocacy organization. Chapter President Mason Lee, 2026, was among a ZBT delegation to attend the ADL’s national Never is Now conference in March. Eleven alumni came and toured the house in late January, the first time back in decades for many.

Beta Lambda (San Diego State University)

The Chapter has been under a suspension from the university that has limited events and programs. ZBT International Headquarters has visited the Chapter and provided ongoing support through this process as we work to resolve the ongoing suspension.

Gamma Beta (California State University-Northridge)

Brothers are very active in supporting other campus organizations and sororities. They love casual sports and hanging out.

Eta Mu (California Polytechnic State-San Luis Obispo)

Over a third of the chapter was on the Dean’s List for Winter Quarter 2025. They had a retreat in the mountains mid-March. Eta Mu continues to support local Hawthorne Elementary through its fundraising efforts, including a concert at the house and with a calendar featuring brother pictures.

Eta Upsilon (Santa Clara University)

The Chapter hosted alumni weekend mid-May with a cookout at the house. Parents’ Weekend was in February, and the brotherhood retreat at Lake Tahoe was in January.

Gamma Xi (University of California-Santa Barbara)

The Chapter had a retreat weekend in Big Bear in February. Their annual powder puff football event featuring sorority teams is very popular. Four brothers completed the Ventura Marathon and many others are in club sports. They are very engaged on campus and have regular alumni panels from featured speakers. Early in the year they raised funds for LA Fire relief efforts.

Colorado

Beta Alpha Theta (University of Colorado Boulder)

Moms Weekend and Dads Weekend were both in March. They partnered with several other IFC fraternities to host a charity concert and also had their own event, ZBTski, to benefit End Overdose – Boulder. They are active with Chabad and the Jewish community.

Iota (University of Denver)

The Chapter had great recruitment events through the fall, like bowling and poker night. Brothers are active on campus with academic clubs and events, as well as engaging with other Greek Life organizations.

Connecticut

Eta Omicron (Quinnipiac University)

The Chapter hosted a volleyball tournament with Alpha Chi Omega sorority to benefit a local animal shelter in April. Brothers are leaders in the Interfraternity Council, which earned an IFC Award from the North-American Interfraternity Conference.

District of Columbia

Beta Psi (American University)

The Chapter had one of the top GPAs among Interfraternity Council groups from the fall. Their intramural flag football team won a championship. At the end of the fall term, the Chapter had a brotherhood retreat in Shenandoah National Park.

Phi Alpha Alpha (The George Washington University)

Brothers co-hosted a Holocaust survivor speaker from the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum on April 16 on campus. They are very involved in Jewish groups and Chabad, as well as club sports and academic activities for their majors. The Chapter was among participants who made Denim Day, an initiative to combat sexual violence on campus, a success in late April.

Delaware

Epsilon Theta (University of Delaware)

Brothers took on the Ice Bucket Challenge to raise money for UDance. They had a great performance in Airband, and the Chapter had a huge paintball day in April. Mid-March, they were among the IFC groups that participated in a garbage cleanup across Newark. The first week of May was Get on the Ball philanthropy with a ZBTahiti theme.

Florida

Alpha Zeta (University of Florida)

ZBTahiti philanthropy volleyball tournament was a great success, raising $12,300 for Children’s Miracle Network and JWI in late March. Alpha Zeta paired with several other Jewish organizations on campus to host a concert with proceeds benefitting Kol Israel, a “pie in the face” event to benefit the IDF, and supported the UF Hillel’s Spread Cream Cheese, Not Hate initiative.

Alpha Omega (University of Miami)

Through spring philanthropy week, Alpha Omega raised over $18,000 for Children’s Miracle Network The Chapter has a great professional development speaker series, recently including Ari Ackerman, who is a minority owner of the Miami Marlins and discussed what it’s like being a Jewish community and business industry leader. In late February, brothers helped with a beach cleanup, collecting 45 pounds of trash from Virginia Key Beach Park.

Delta Omicron (University of Tampa)

The Chapter was recognized by the campus Fraternity and Sorority Life office as a top, 5-Star chapter for 2024-2025. ZBT brothers are regular participants in sorority philanthropies and other campus activities, including intramural sports. They had a swab drive for Gift of Life in March.

Delta Iota (University of Central Florida)

The Chapter is very engaged in philanthropic work. Their Tahiti themed fundraiser reached over $5,600 for Children’s Miracle Network in April. Brothers also raised $5,800 through the Kappa Delta Shakedown philanthropy, taking home first place overall in the competition. They were third in the dance category at Cheers for Charity by Alpha Delta Pi.

Gamma Chi (University of South Florida)

Dad’s Weekend was in late March. Brothers are very engaged on campus, particularly in supporting the Fraternity/Sorority community and philanthropy events. The annual Gamma Chi bubble soccer tournament in March supported CMNH and JWI, raising more than $5,000. Brother Joshua Desilva, 2028, was named IFC New Member of the Year, and River Ferris, 2026, was named Order of Omega new member of the year.

Zeta Alpha (Florida State University)

The Chapter’s ZBTahiti fundraiser on March 30 benefitted CMNH and JWI through a volleyball tournament. A team of brothers participated in a sorority philanthropy volleyball event. Brother Jake Nair, 2025, served as the treasurer for the Jewish Student Union this year. Zaccaria Scarpa, 2028, was among a ZBT delegation to attend the ADL’s national Never is Now conference in March.

Georgia

Eta Lambda (Emory University)

The Chapter hosted multiple fundraisers for CMNH: in February they had a pie in the face competition, and in late spring brothers agreed to shave their heads for so many dollars raised. For fun, the chapter had internal sports competitions of basketball and disc golf. The Chapter assisted in initiating the new chapter at Georgia.

Mu (University of Georgia)

The new brothers are excited to be a part of the Jewish community at UGA. Several are attending their first International Convention this summer.

Illinois

Delta Lambda (Monmouth College)

Brothers attended a service at Temple Sholom in early April, learning from Rabbi Jenny. Mason Reed, 2026, was named Greek Man of the Year at the Greek Week Awards, and the Chapter earned honors for service and philanthropy. They have events throughout the year to support CMNH and JWI, such as Egg a Zeeb, Dodge for a Cause and March Madness. Nine brothers were on the Dean’s List in Fall 2024. Brothers are very engaged on campus, with other student organizations as a chapter, and with clubs and sports as individuals.

Gamma (Northwestern University)

The Chapter partnered with Challah for Hunger in braiding and baking everything seasoned challah in April. A team of brothers made it to the final four in the spring IFC Basketball Tournament. They paired with Delta Gamma Sorority to host a charity pickleball tournament to benefit the Wounded Warriors Foundation in late May.

Rho (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign)

The Chapter kicked off Moms Weekend in early April with a charity concert supporting the USO, co-hosted with two other fraternities. As a service event, brothers planned a trash pickup in the community. They are active with Chabad, including roles in Jewish Greek leadership.

Indiana

Alpha Alpha (Purdue University)

Brother Luke Ford, 2025, was awarded Fraternity Man of the Year and his little brother, Matthew Wind, 2026, earned Brother of the Year from the Purdue fraternity life office. Brother Ford also was the commencement speaker. About a third of the chapter was on the Dean’s List from fall. Brothers have prestigious internships and educational opportunities and focus on career development as a Brotherhood. Moms weekend was in April. The Chapter ended the term with an alumnus speaker, Douglas I. Ross, Beta Gamma (Indiana University) 1981, CEO of tech consulting firm Capgemini.

Beta Gamma (Indiana University)

Brothers won an intramural lacrosse championship. They support sorority philanthropy work and are active in the Jewish campus community, regularly attending events at Chabad and Hillel.

Kansas

Epsilon Mu (University of Kansas)

In late March, brothers spent time volunteering at the Lawrence Humane Society, cleaning up the play areas and having fun playing with the dogs. A dine to donate event at Chipotle supported CMNH. They participated in the IFC’s Chapters for Charity fundraiser and Mural Madness. Brothers are very into intramural basketball.

Kentucky

Alpha Iota (University of Kentucky)

The group had a brotherhood retreat in Tennessee to end the spring term. They ended the fall term by co-hosting a Hanukkah dinner at Hillel.

Louisiana

Sigma (Tulane University)

The Sigma Chapter has the highest GPA among IFC member organizations, with a 3.65. The Chapter partnered with Alpha Epsilon Phi and Chabad to have a challah bake sale supporting United Hatzalah in early April, quickly followed by a 5K with registration proceeds benefitting Gift of Life.

Massachusetts

Omicron (Tufts University)

Brothers have a connection with Chabad, attending Shabbat and other events, and hosting a Gift of Life Shabbat in late February. They hosted a Gift of Life tabling activity, and partner with other Greek letter organizations on campus. Brothers had a hot dog sale outside the house in early April with proceeds benefitting the Testicular Cancer Society. The Tufts Police Department came to the house to chat with brothers about safety in March.

Theta Alpha (University of Massachusetts-Amherst)

The Chapter won Greek Week activities as part of Team Pink. In early May, brothers took part in a community cleanup around downtown Amherst.

Xi (Massachusetts Institute of Technology)

The Chapter hosted ZBT’s Combatting Campus Antisemitism program in May. Brothers support sorority philanthropies and other student organizations. In long-held MIT student tradition, brothers enjoy gaming, food, exploring Boston and of course studying.

Epsilon Phi (Brandeis University)

Brothers enjoy intramural flag football and pickleball.  The Chapter needs recruitment and advisory support. If you are interested, contact ZBT International.

Gamma Psi (Northeastern University)

Brothers play intramural sports and the Chapter partners with the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation.

Maryland

Beta Zeta Epsilon (University of Maryland – College Park)

Greek New Member Shabbat and SHABBAM!! As well as educational opportunities. Family weekend was in November. The Chapter raised $1,000 for CMNH through fall Get on the Ball. The Chapter is very engaged in the campus Jewish community, regularly attending Hillel, Chabad and other organizations’ events. Several brothers in the MEOR Jewish mentorship program. Brothers are very involved in the clubs related to their academic majors, as well, such as business school fellowships.

Eta Kappa (Towson University)

The Chapter partnered with two other fraternities to have a lemonade stand, proceeds benefitting Johns Hopkins Hospital, in early April. They partnered with a sorority to have a blood drive on April 22 and another sorority to have a philanthropy event for CMNH, raising $1,000 in May. Three brothers were inducted into the Order of Omega leadership honorary this spring, and brothers have leadership roles in the IFC and TigerTHON. Brother David Khairghadam, 2026, was named IFC Executive Board Officer of the Year for the campus.

Michigan

Beta Epsilon (Michigan State University)

Beta Epsilon was part of an IFC service day on March 31 at the new Red Cedar River Riverside Park, a half-mile park connecting downtown and campus. Get on the Ball week was in mid-April, raising more than $2,300 for Children’s Miracle Network.

Missouri

Omega (University of Missouri)

The Chapter hosted Get on the Ball week in mid-April, including a dine and match at a local coffee shop. Greek Week was a blast, including a lip sync contest, trivia, banners and more. Brothers participated in THON and the IFC Polar Plunge in March. The Chapter hosted a heritage education program with ZBT national and volunteers regularly around campus.

Alpha Xi (Washington University-St. Louis)

Brothers contributed a ZBTaco booth as part of the campus Thurtene Festival that benefitted the Little Bit Foundation, which works to break down barriers to learning for under-resourced students in the St. Louis.

 

 

New Jersey

Beta Delta (Rutgers-New Brunswick)

The Chapter supported a regional blood drive in February and had a Gift of Life swab drive in March. Get on the Ball had a ZBTahiti theme this April. More than 23 brothers were on the Dean’s List from fall.

 

 

Epsilon Tau (Fairleigh Dickinson University-Madison)

The Chapter sold green bagels on St. Patrick’s Day as a fundraiser and had a gaming 24-hour livestream to support Children’s Miracle Network. Earlier in spring, they had a Rock, Paper, Scissors tournament. Brothers are very active in supporting others across campus, including sororities and fraternities as well as brothers in their other endeavors, like sports, theater and academic clubs.

New York

Gamma (New York University)

The Chapter works with the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation, which works with children fighting cancer and their families. Gamma Chapter raised over $5,000 for local charities in the fall term. They have had an active community service partnership with NYC Food Bank since 2023. Brothers volunteer monthly, assisting with food distribution, organizing community meals and raising funds through chapter-led initiatives. In Fall 2024, ZBT raised $2,500 to support the food bank’s efforts. They ended the semester with a formal brotherhood night on a Hudson River cruise.

Kappa (Cornell University)

The Chapter partnered with Sigma Delta Tau to have a cookout for SDT’s philanthropy at the ZBT house in April. Brother Josh Waitman, 2027, was profiled by the Fraternity and Sorority Life office for his work with the Cornell Red Cross, a role in which he provides many charitable and service activities for others.

Omicron (Syracuse University)

Brothers enjoy spending time together, whether it’s watching or playing sports, grabbing a bite to eat, or simply hanging at the house. They participated in the IFC’s Hendricks Cup competition, to grow service and philanthropy on campus. Dads’ Weekend was in late January.

Delta Zeta (Pace University)

In February, the Chapter had a career preparation brunch with alumni. Proceeds from a charitable auction in April went to CMNH.

Epsilon Delta (Binghamton University)

Brothers went bouldering in March and often have brotherhood events. They participated in a sorority’s kickball philanthropy with other chapters. The Chapter helped Initiate the new Prospective Chapter at the University of Albany (Epsilon Gamma).

Epsilon Nu (State University of New York-Oneonta)

The Chapter hosted the biggest Gift of Life swab drive in recent campus history this April! Brothers participated in the university’s Walk for Suicide Awareness in late April. Brothers went to Chabad for a challah bake in early March.

Eta Iota (State University of New York-Plattsburgh)

The Prospective Chapter earned a Pillar of Excellence honor from the Fraternity and Sorority Life office for volunteering at the Outreach Center. The Chapter hosted Get on the Ball in late April, supporting Children’s Miracle Network.

Epsilon Gamma (University at Albany)

This group, started in early April, held their first service event by the end of the month, a Gift of Life swab drive.

North Carolina

Eta Xi (University of North Carolina at Charlotte)

A team of brothers won the intramural basketball league this spring. Brothers participated in Tefillin and Talk Thursday at Hillel in February. Chapter President Tyler Inscoe, 2025, is also President of Ninerthon dance marathon, which raised more than $14,000 for Children’s Miracle Network, with the ZBT team raising more than half the total amount. For service events, they took part in a waterway cleanup and supported a hygiene kit packing drive with a women’s organization in March. The Chapter hosted a beach formal as well.

Eta Sigma (Elon University)

Brothers hosted a “Zodgeball” tournament with dodgeball game entry fees going to support JWI. A team of brothers won the whiffle ball tournament hosted by a sorority. Brothers had a blast supporting Children’s Miracle Network through a field day for Elonthon.

 

Alpha Pi (The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill)

Brothers regularly volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and are highly engaged as Jewish community leaders, co-hosting speakers and Holocaust memorial events and more with Hillel and Students Supporting Israel. For fun, brothers enjoy the outdoors and cheering for Tar Heels sports.

University of North Carolina at Wilmington

The Prospective Chapter is immediately strongly engaged on campus. Brothers joined Tri Sigma in volunteering at a local food bank, packing meals for those in need, in late March. They hosted activities as part of Dubthon, UNCW’s Dance Marathon benefiting Duke’s Children’s Hospital.

Ohio

Lambda (Case Western Reserve University)

Get on the Ball was a 3v3 basketball tournament in March, supporting Children’s Miracle Network. A ZBTropical event in April also benefitted CMNH, as an afterparty from Springfest. The annual Rope Pull event was enjoyed by all.

Brother Justin Bucsanyi, 2025, won the Howard Shelley Fraternal Leadership Award during the Greek Life Awards. Brother Cole Smith, 2026, is the IFC Vice President of Citizenship and Wellness.

Pennsylvania

Theta (University of Pennsylvania)

The Chapter has the fifth-highest GPA among Interfraternity Council groups, with a 3.83. Brothers are involved in Jewish groups on campus. The Chapter house is undergoing renovations this summer.

Alpha Nu (Muhlenberg College)

The Chapter was recognized for having the top chapter GPA as part of Greek Week festivities. They had a brotherhood retreat in the mountains in March. Brothers remain very engaged with Hillel, attending a speech from an Israeli author and participating in campus events. They had a Gift of Life swab drive in February.

Alpha Psi (Pennsylvania State University)

Alpha Psi is the 10th largest fraternity among recognized groups on campus.

ZBT continues to be a leading participant in Penn State THON, the largest student-run philanthropy in the U.S., benefitting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Paired with a sorority, the Chapter raises funds throughout the year with events leading up to the dance marathon in February.

Beta Alpha Chi (York College of Pennsylvania)

Philanthropy week in early May had a ZBTahiti theme, including a Gift of Life swab drive, carnival and Get on the Ball. Brothers have consistently picked up trash around campus most weekends as a community service initiative.

Beta Phi (University of Pittsburgh)

The Chapter joined Sigma Delta Tau for a neighborhood cleanup in late March.  The Chapter was recognized as one of the top 10 fundraising teams for Pitt Dance Marathon, reaching over $8,700. Brotherhood retreat was in February, hosted at a cabin in the woods. The Chapter paired with other Jewish student organizations to host a Holocaust remembrance ceremony in January.

Alpha Tau (Franklin & Marshall College)

The new Prospective Chapter hosted a Gift of Life swab drive in April, with a ZBTahiti themed event. They are working strongly to reconnect with Alpha Tau alumni, including regular virtual meetings and a barbecue. Brothers love outdoors activities and brotherhood bonding.

Rhode Island

Rho Iota (University of Rhode Island)

The Chapter was named Most Improved Chapter on campus during the spring banquet. Congratulations! They have the second highest GPA among fraternities on campus.

Tennessee

Alpha Gamma (Vanderbilt University)

Brothers donate to Swipes to a Cause, which helps those with food insecurity in Nashville. Get on the Ball was in February, raising $5,000 for CMNH.

Gamma Mu (University of Memphis)

Brothers participated in the Best Buddies Walk in early April. Several brothers are on the executive board for Best Buddies. The Chapter is very engaged with Best Buddies and other fraternity and sorority friends on campus. Brother Tyler Crisp, 2026, was President of the Interfraternity Council for the 2024-2025 year.

Texas

Lambda (University of Texas at Austin)

The Chapter hosted a barbecue to support the B+ Foundation, raising more than $146,000 in partnership with other Greek organizations. They also had a crawfish boil for charity at the house and Moms Weekend in early April.

Zeta Lambda (Stephen F. Austin State University)

The new brothers had a brotherhood bowling night and have started cheering for campus sports as a brotherhood.

Virginia

Delta Xi (Virginia Tech)

More than 30 brothers were on the Dean’s List from fall. Brothers are very engaged in community service through campus and IFC drives like Greeks Giving Back. Past Chapter President Ryan Pini, 2026, has joined the IFC Executive Board for next school year.

West Virginia

West Virginia University

The new Chapter had a golf outing and a date party at the end of March. The ended the spring semester with a formal Brotherhood dinner.

Wisconsin

Alpha Kappa (University of Wisconsin-Madison)

The Chapter size is almost double the IFC average. An intramural team comprised of brothers won the flag football fall league, and another IM team took third place at basketball in the winter. Parents’ Weekend was March 7, with the group having a fun time cheering for the Badgers at a men’s basketball game. The annual ZBTahiti fundraiser supported Ian’s Friends Foundation, which funds research related to treatment of pediatric brain tumors, with nearly $20,000.

Ontario

Zeta Eta (University of Western Ontario)

The Chapter paired with Alpha Omicron Pi for a charity pickleball tournament in March, raising $1,000 for a breast cancer research foundation. Brothers took a trip to Montreal and had their spring formal in March. A team of brothers participated in a charity hockey tournament among eight fraternities in February that raised more than $28,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society.
