Accredited Chapters: ZBT is proud of the chapters who were certified through our Standards of Excellence program last year. These groups have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the highest standards in Zeta Beta Tau by pursuing and achieving operational excellence and dedication to brotherhood. 2024 accredited chapters are noted herein.

By Canadian Province
Alabama
Psi (University of Alabama)
Brothers participated in a community cleanup in late September. Recruitment was very successful, with 26 new brothers joining the chapter in fall. Ten brothers made the President’s List and another 22 made the Dean’s List from Spring 2025. The Chapter’s Spring semester GPA was a 3.22. Seventy-one percent of the brothers made above a 3.0 GPA.
Arizona
Alpha Omicron (University of Arizona)
Alpha Omicron won ZBT’s Barry D. Siegel Award for most successful recruitment for a large campus.
Players from the Wildcats football team visited the house before the Colorado game. Griffen Brock, 2027, was elected Vice President of Communications on the UA Interfraternity Council. Forty new brothers joined the Chapter this fall. Brothers secured prestigious internships, including at the U.S. House of Representatives and in major health care and business companies.
Gamma Tau (Arizona State University) – ACCREDITED
ZBT was named the Most Improved Chapter among the ASU Greek community in fall 2025. Family weekend and tailgate was in late October. The Chapter immediately adopted ZBT’s newest philanthropic partner, the B+ Foundation, and hosted a B+ Day in late September with a car wash, dine to donate and pickleball tournament proceeds going to the B+ Foundation.
California
Alpha Delta in Southern California
The men’s basketball team invited brothers to join for practice before the start of the season. They hosted a fall brotherhood camping retreat to Joshua Tree National Park. Brothers enjoy casual sports, hiking, cheering for the Trojans and SoCal weather.
Alpha Eta (University of California, Berkeley) – ACCREDITED
Brothers enjoy fishing, boating, skiing and hiking. They often can be found cheering for Cal athletics teams.
Alpha Rho (University of California-Los Angeles)
Brothers are active in Jewish and heritage causes on campus. The new house has been a success for the chapter.
Beta Lambda (San Diego State University)
The Chapter hosted a Gift of Life swab drive over two days in mid-October. A Halloween week philanthropy supported The Hirschberg Foundation, fighting against pancreatic cancer, with more than $6,000 raised. Brothers love taking advantage of San Diego activities and great weather, through beach days, surfing, hiking and more.
Eta Mu (California Polytechnic State-San Luis Obispo) – ACCREDITED
Brothers stay active by playing paintball, surfing, snow sports, intramurals and working out together. 24 new brothers joined the Chapter in fall.
Eta Upsilon (Santa Clara University)
Eta Upsilon won the Barry D. Siegel Award for most outstanding recruitment in a small chapter last year.
The chapter had a fundraiser for Children’s Miracle Network in mid-November. Several brothers have had great internships over summer and fall. They took part in ZBT’s mental health workshop, Empower Your Peers.
Gamma Xi (University of California-Santa Barbara) – ACCREDITED
GreekWeek winners in fall 2025! Congratulations, brothers and partners. The Chapter GPA from spring was above the IFC and all-Greek organization community averages. Several brothers ran the Santa Barbara Half Marathon together in early November.
Gamma Beta (California State University-Northridge)
Brothers love the beach, concerts, outdoors activities and having fun around the Los Angeles area. The Chapter has been under a suspension from the university that has limited events and programs.
Colorado
Beta Alpha Theta (University of Colorado Boulder)
Brother Robert (Bob) Kilburg, 2027, was named IFC On The Hill President of the Year award for 2025. Brothers are involved with Chabad and Hillel.

Iota (University of Denver)
The Chapter is focusing on building opportunities for brotherhood bonding and community service. A team of brothers earned first place in intramural soccer to end the Spring 2025 term.
Connecticut
Eta Omicron (Quinnipiac University)
Fifteen new brothers joined Eta Omicron in fall with recruitment events like casual sports and a formal dinner. Brothers are leaders in the IFC and active in fraternity/sorority community events.
Delaware
Epsilon Theta (University of Delaware)
A team of brothers came in second in the 6 vs. 6 indoor volleyball league. For a service activity, brothers picked up trash around town. They also hosted mixers with sororities. The Chapter is very involved with UDance dance marathon, supporting the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation. Several brothers are involved with Chabad, and most have part-time jobs.
District of Columbia
Beta Psi (American University)
Brothers play intramural flag football and wrestling and are involved with philanthropic clubs on campus. Heritage education and community involvement are important to Beta Psi brothers.
Phi Alpha Alpha (The George Washington University)
The Chapter had a brunch at the house for parents weekend in October. Phi Alpha Alpha co-hosted a Greek Shabbat with another organization at Chabad early in the fall. 12 new brothers joined the chapter so far this year.
Florida
Alpha Zeta (University of Florida) – ACCREDITED
Alpha Zeta hosted a philanthropy event in support of The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation in early October called ZB Got Talent. This outstanding event raised more than $20,000 through strong participation from campus peers and friends.
Alpha Omega (University of Miami)
Alpha Omega won the Barry D. Siegel Award for most successful recruitment last year for a medium sized campus.
The Chapter raises funds consistently throughout the academic year for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Many brothers are very active with Chabad. A popular major in the chapter is business/finance and brothers are very involved with clubs and internships in this career development area.
Delta Iota (University of Central Florida)
The Chapter supported six sorority philanthropy events this fall.
Delta Omicron (University of Tampa) – ACCREDITED
After recruitment events like pickup basketball and volleyball, a barbecue and beach day, 25 new brothers joined the chapter in fall.
Gamma Chi (University of South Florida) – ACCREDITED
The Chapter has been a great supporter of Chabad, attending holidays and more at the house. September’s Pearl philanthropy engaged women on campus in a philanthropy that supports JWI and CMNH.
Zeta Alpha (Florida State University)
Brotherhood retreat was in Panama City Beach in October. A team of brothers enjoyed the flag football season, and several engaged in supporting sorority philanthropies.
Zeta Alpha, re-founded in Fall 2023, was approved for its Charter in summer 2025 and won the Best Prospective Chapter Award from ZBT this summer. Congratulations! The celebration will be in spring.
Georgia
Eta Lambda (Emory University)
Brothers enjoy intramural basketball and soccer. Brothers are involved with campus Jewish organizations.
Mu (University of Georgia)
The new chapter hosted a brotherhood retreat with the brothers from Alpha Pi at UNC-Chapel Hill near Asheville. Their first Get on the Ball since returning was this fall, in support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. ZBT had the second highest GPA in the Interfraternity Council over last spring. Brothers have enjoyed events like trivia and bowling and are engaged with Hillel.
Illinois
Delta Lambda (Monmouth College) – ACCREDITED
Get on the Ball coincided with Homecoming, with a goal of $4,000. Delta Lambda had multiple fundraisers, like a “Go Pink” fundraiser during Breast Cancer Awareness month and a Movember men’s health fundraiser. Delta Lambda has exchanges with every sorority and fraternity on campus, over major holidays – like pumpkin carving for Halloween – or casual sports or karaoke.

Gamma (Northwestern University)
The Chapter is very engaged in service, including an Evanston-based organization that helps meet the needs of those struggling with housing, Connections for the Homeless. They hosted a Gift of Life swab drive and were the top participating chapter in an IFC blood drive.
“Sometimes Greek organizations get a bad rep because when you think of frat life, you don’t think of 30 guys showing up on a Tuesday morning to help homeless people,” Chapter President Jeb Scipio del Campo told the campus newspaper. Read the full article here.
Rho (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign)
Rho Chapter had the third highest GPA among Interfraternity Council groups for spring 2025. They also won the IFC intramural basketball championship for fall. Dads’ Weekend in November included a tailgate before the football game then everyone enjoyed the music from a live band at Greeks Rock Against Cancer.
Indiana
Alpha Alpha (Purdue University) – ACCREDITED
The Chapter earned ZBT’s Lee Dover Award for Most Outstanding General Chapter Programming in 2025.
A team of brothers won the sand volleyball intramural championship for fall and then the indoor volleyball league as well. ZBTs are winners! Dads’ Day was in November with a tailgate, football game and lunch.
September philanthropy week was a big success, raising $12,000 for Riley Children’s Hospital with events like Puppies on the Porch, Zeta Beta Tomato and 3 vs. 3 basketball.
Beta Gamma (Indiana University)
Brothers raised about $3,500 for Children’s Miracle Network through events for IU Dance Marathon in early November. For Parents Weekend, Beta Gamma co-hosted bagels for parents with Hillel. They also assisted Hillel in building their sukkah before Sukkot. Brothers won the fraternity league intramural flag football championship and several games in the Greek Basketball Association.
Kansas
Epsilon Mu (University of Kansas) – ACCREDITED
Brothers volunteer at the local animal shelter in Lawrence. Proceeds from a philanthropic pickleball tournament in October and a car wash at the house in September went to Children’s Miracle Network. ZBT was second in the annual Homecoming flag football tournament. Over Thanksgiving, the Chapter had a Turkey Bowl flag football tournament.
Kentucky
Alpha Iota (University of Kentucky)
Alpha Iota teamed up with campus ambassadors from Gift of Life to get swabs for potential matches in mid-November. Brothers participated in a sorority philanthropy Paint Wars event as well as another’s bowling fundraiser. The Chapter grew with 13 new brothers this fall. Brother Quinton Carson, 2027, is Director Of Health Initiatives for the IFC.

Louisiana
Sigma (Tulane University)
Brothers are very involved with Gift of Life, hosting their first swab drive of the year in mid-September. Homecoming and Parents’ Weekend was extra special, honoring Chef Michael and Miss Deborah Alexis for 36 years of service.
Massachusetts
Omicron (Tufts University)
Get on the Ball was in mid-November. Brothers host several service and philanthropic events over the term, for ZBT’s organizations as well as breast cancer and epilepsy awareness. They host brotherhood and career development sessions within the chapter and are involved with Hillel. Annually, brothers meet with Tufts PD for a safety presentation.
Xi (Massachusetts Institute of Technology)
The Chapter closed out the semester with a Gift of Life swab drive in December. Brothers play club frisbee and other sports. Xi Chapter hosted ZBT’s Combatting Campus Antisemitism workshop late in the spring at Hillel.
Epsilon Phi (Brandeis University)
The Chapter co-hosted a “pink out” in October with proceeds benefitting Sharsheret, a breast cancer philanthropy for the Jewish community. They also partnered with Sigma Delta Tau in mid-October to host a fundraiser and awareness tabling for a local domestic violence prevention agency.
Gamma Psi (Northeastern University)
Gamma Psi hosted a swab drive for Gift of Life on the quad in early November, just before the Brotherhood Retreat in Vermont. December saw the semiformal event with chapter awards.
Theta Alpha (University of Massachusetts-Amherst)
Just before the start of the term, brothers enjoyed a mountain weekend getaway. Brother Hunter Boden, 2028, will serve on the IFC Executive Board next year. Caleb McKearney, 2026, served on the IFC last year. Recruitment events included poker and games, NFL watch party and a barbecue, resulting in seven new brothers joining the chapter.
Maryland
Beta Zeta Epsilon (University of Maryland – College Park) – ACCREDITED
The Chapter hosted Get on the Ball around campus in early November. Fall retreat to Lake Anna in Virginia followed mid-month. Brothers are leaders at Chabad and Hillel and play in the Greek Basketball Association league.
Eta Kappa (Towson University)
Brothers volunteered to support a local animal shelter’s adoption event in mid-October. Homecoming week festivities included a partnership with Phi Mu and success at Dance the Madness. Several brothers are leaders on the Interfraternity Council.
Michigan
Beta Epsilon (Michigan State University)
Parents’ weekend included a well-attended tailgate in early October. Educational opportunities included risk prevention and campus safety. Brothers are involved in clubs related to their majors and casual sports.
Phi (University of Michigan)
The new brothers are involved in intramural sports, Hillel and cheering for the Wolverines.
Missouri
Omega (University of Missouri)
Several members went on a brotherhood retreat to a brother’s family lake house, camping one night and enjoying the cabin on the other. Brothers enjoyed the outdoors, took a boat ride and dined together. The Chapter has worked with ZBT International Headquarters and the campus Hillel to lead a series of educational programs. The Chapter’s fall philanthropy week supported Pulmonary Hypertension Association in tribute to alumnus Brother Gage Bardenheier, Omega 2022, who passed away due to complications with PH in summer 2025.
Alpha Xi (Washington University-St. Louis)
Brothers rented a lake house for a retreat in late September. ZBT hosted a brunch during WashU’s family weekend in September. Brothers are very involved on campus, including on the Hillel board of directors and in various activities related to their majors.

New Jersey
Beta Delta (Rutgers New Brunswick) – ACCREDITED
This Chapter earned ZBT’s Edwin B. Meissner Award for 2025 Most Improved Chapter! Beta Delta also was recognized as a 4-Star chapter ending the last school year by Rutgers’ Office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs.
Beta Delta had a Gift of Life swab drive early in the fall. Recruitment events included bonfire, barbecue, games and more with 14 new brothers joining in the fall. The Chapter is very involved in the RU4Kids program (part of Dance Marathon), which pairs Rutgers student organizations with patient families at a local children’s hospital. They play intramurals like flag football.
Epsilon Tau (Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham) – ACCREDITED
Alumni weekend with a casual football game and more was in early November. A Gift of Life swab drive just before Thanksgiving was a great service event. Brothers are active on the IFC, in varsity and club sports and with sorority events on campus.
New York
Gamma (New York University) – ACCREDITED
Brothers are strongly engaged with Dance Marathon and The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation. The Chapter is growing its relationship with the campus Hillel and engaging in new opportunities for heritage education.
Kappa (Cornell University) – ACCREDITED
Kappa Chapter had the highest GPA among all ZBT chapter last year. The Chapter engages with Gift of Life. Brothers have supported antisemitism and hate culture awareness programming on campus.
Omicron (Syracuse University)
A team of brothers won the Syracuse Greek Basketball Association league in fall and played in the GBA national tournament in November. The Chapter hosted a golf tournament in October, congratulations to Alex Rosenstock and Josh Spiegel for winning the event.
Delta Zeta (Pace University)
Brothers got a little messy for a good cause, hosting a “Pie a Brother” philanthropy event with a sorority (whose members also participated) in October.
Epsilon Delta (Binghamton University)
Brothers participated in the fraternity/sorority community’s first ever Greek Week – and their team won! The winning chapters received funds to donate to the charity of their choosing, and Epsilon Delta chose Tunnels to Towers Foundation, started after Sept. 11, 2001, to support fallen and injured veterans, first responders and their families. Get on the Ball was in late August, supporting CMNH.
Epsilon Nu (State University of New York-Oneonta)
Brothers took part in the Inter-Greek council’s Halloween carnival for local families. In a September drive, the Chapter added more than 200 people to Gift of Life’s registry.
Eta Iota (State University of New York-Plattsburgh)
Brothers hosted an alumni weekend on campus in late September.
Epsilon Gamma (University of Albany)
The new Prospective Chapter is focusing on recruitment and adding more brotherhood development events. Programming like career development and service are important to the brothers.
North Carolina
Eta Xi (University of North Carolina at Charlotte) – ACCREDITED
Congratulations to Eta Xi for winning the Brummer Cup in 2025 for the second consecutive year.
A team of brothers won the Delta Zeta lip sync philanthropy and intramural basketball. Dads’ Weekend was mid-November, following Parents’ Weekend in September. Brothers are dedicated to raising funds for Ninerthon, supporting Children’s Miracle Network.
Alpha Pi (The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill)
The brothers hosted a band for a Halloween weekend show and went on a brotherhood retreat with the Mu (Georgia) chapter. Recruitment is a priority for the newer chapter, with ongoing events like poker, lawn sports and cookouts.
Eta Sigma (Elon University)
The Chapter raised more than $1,600 for Duke Children’s Hospital through Get on the Ball in early October. Ten new brothers joined in early fall.
University of North Carolina at Wilmington
A team of brothers won the intramural football open. They are involved with the Best Buddies organization, including co-leading a kickball event. Their first Parents’ Weekend was in September.
Ohio
Lambda (Case Western Reserve University) – ACCREDITED
The chapter hosted a young alumni career development panel and a Title IX workshop from the university and sober monitor training. Brothers attended a challah bake at Chabad. Parents Weekend was in October and brothers participated in Greek Games.
Pennsylvania
Theta (University of Pennsylvania)
The Chapter co-hosted a blood drive with Sigma Delta Tau, collecting 74 pints of blood in September. The Chapter GPA last spring was 3.30, very near the campus average.
Alpha Nu (Muhlenberg College) – ACCREDITED
The Chapter hosted their semesterly brotherhood retreat in the Poconos in October. Brothers enjoyed games, the outdoors and a bonfire. A fundraising event supported JWI over Halloween. Several alumni visited the chapter for Homecoming and alumni weekend.
Alpha Psi (Pennsylvania State University)
The Chapter is very active in intramural sports including soccer and flag football. Brothers are huge supporters of the Nittany Lions, hosting tailgates and attending other sports. 2024-2025 Chapter President Luke Flatley earned ZBT’s Maine-Heffer Award for Most Outstanding Chapter President.
Beta Alpha Chi (York College of Pennsylvania) – ACCREDITED
A team of brothers won a sorority’s volleyball tournament, benefitting CMNH, in October. Brothers are very engaged with other Greeks on campus and supporting their philanthropies, like domestic violence awareness and leadership education.
Beta Phi (University of Pittsburgh) – ACCREDITED
Through Get on the Ball, the Chapter raised over $1,300 for Pitt Dance Marathon. Brothers are highly involved with Chabad and other Jewish groups on campus.
Alpha Tau (Franklin & Marshall College)
The newly returned chapter is focusing on recruitment and growth in its second semester. Brothers are very involved on campus and take advantage of F&M’s study abroad opportunities.
Rhode Island
Rho Iota (University of Rhode Island)
The Chapter raised funds for the Nicholas Wihlborg Foundation, which supports research and awareness of childhood cancer. Brothers are big into intramural sports, including a win in men’s softball. An alumni softball tournament in fall was a hit.
Tennessee
Alpha Gamma (Vanderbilt University)
The Chapter is active in fundraising for Vanderbilt’s largest benefit concert, Lights on the Lawn, and supporting the philanthropies of fellow Greek organizations. Brothers love cheering for the Commodores and hanging out around Nashville. They are working on growing their programming calendar for spring and adding more mental health resources.
Gamma Mu (University of Memphis)
The Chapter is a great supporter of the Memphis chapter of Best Buddies, which provides support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, hosting regular get-togethers. Brothers pair with sororities frequently for events.
Texas
Lambda (University of Texas at Austin)
Brothers have a fun chapter basketball league. They are active with Hillel and Chabad, during the holidays, and also hosting a ZBT Shabbat at each house. The Chapter has a robust social calendar.
Zeta Lambda (Stephen F. Austin State University)
The new chapter has immediately become very active on campus, partnering with other Greeks for social events and philanthropies, intramurals, alumni events and more. A team of brothers came in third in a sorority dance competition for charity. Fall recruitment was very successful, with 15 new brothers.
Virginia
Delta Xi (Virginia Tech) – ACCREDITED
Delta Xi won ZBT’s Sobel Award for most improved GPA term-over-term for 2025.
The Chapter hosts alumni career panels as part of their educational slate. Get on the Ball in late September raised more than $3,000. Brothers enjoy paintball, going to Hokies football games and supporting other Greek organizations on campus.
Wisconsin
Alpha Kappa (University of Wisconsin-Madison)
A team of brothers earned an intramural volleyball championship in the fall. Parents’ Weekend was in mid-November. Some brothers finished the Madison full or half Marathon. The Chapter is very connected to Chabad and Jewish heritage programs on campus.
Ontario
Zeta Eta (University of Western Ontario)
Brothers are very active in service and charitable events. The Chapter hosted a stem cell swab and co-hosted a car wash with a sorority to benefit arthritis research and prevention. Brothers participated in several Movember men’s health awareness and support initiatives. For the holidays, they had a food drive to support the local community. For fun, they enjoy intramural hockey and hosting social events.
