Bakker honored at Monmouth College

By Lesley Miller —

During Homecoming weekend in October, Brother Jeffrey J. Bakker, Esq., Delta Lambda (Monmouth College) 1990, was inducted into Monmouth College’s Order of Omega Hall of Fame.

The Order of Omega is a leadership honor society for members of fraternities and sororities. The Delta Lambda Chapter of Order of Omega and Monmouth College have established the Hall of Fame to identify and honor alumni from Greek organizations who have achieved top success within their professions and have given back to their communities.

“Brother Bakker is the epitome of a ZBT,” said Zeta Beta Tau Foundation Chief Executive Officer Faron A. Lewitt, Psi (University of Alabama) 1997. “He demonstrates loyalty to his brothers, strives for excellence in all aspects of his career and is a servant leader of the Zeta Beta Tau Foundation.”

Brother Bakker was one of four alumni selected for the honor this year.

“My ZBT brothers and Monmouth College have had a tremendous impact on my life for over 35 years,” Bakker noted. “To be recognized this way is overwhelming.”
