Letter’s from ZBT’s Leaders

Brothers and friends of ZBT,

We hope this letter finds you safe and healthy. We are navigating unchartered territory together and with that, we want to share how Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity, Zeta Beta Tau Foundation and ZBT National Housing are working together to support our brothers during the COVID-19 crisis. Even though the Mission of the Fraternity, Foundation & Housing Corporate may differ, in this difficult time, our support for each other is unwavering.

Colleges and universities have closed campuses and are moving to online learning environments. This certainly puts a social fraternity in a difficult position, but we are incredibly proud of how our undergraduate brothers are working together to figure out how they can continue to support each other and enjoy a semblance of normalcy. A couple of examples include:

  • Video game tournaments with the whole chapter
  • Virtual mealtimes – the entire chapter logs on to a video chat platform during lunch time.
  • Virtual chapter meetings
  • Virtual heritage programming for Roger Williams Day

While campus housing is shut down, ZBT National Housing is working to ensure cleaning services are maintained in the houses as well as pay for cleaning services for brothers still in ZBT properties.

The Zeta Beta Tau Foundation is working closely with the Fraternity to determine how best to support and assist our brothers. As many colleges and universities have closed campuses, canceled classes and moved to online learning, the Foundation is exploring how we can best utilize our resources to assist the brothers of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity. While this is a challenging time, the Foundation’s leadership is steadfast in ensuring we can fulfill our Mission to assist the collegiate and alumni brothers of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity.

The Supreme Council, Zeta Beta Tau Foundation Board of Directors, ZBT National Housing Board of Directors and staff are committed to seeing our beloved Fraternity through this trying time and helping to come out stronger than ever. Please know that we are here for you in any capacity we can support you. Please reach out to us at zbt@zbtnational.org or foundation@zbtfoundation.org.

Cordially, Fraternally & Sincerely,
