Zeta Beta Tau Foundation helps make everything possible

The Zeta Beta Tau Foundation continues to thrive more than 70 years since it was established thanks to the consistent generosity of donors and enduring supporters.

The organization exists to support the collegiate and alumni brothers of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity. The Zeta Beta Tau Foundation helps make everything possible, ensuring current and future generations of brothers have access to ZBT programs and connecting generations of alumni with benefits that promote Brotherhood for a Lifetime.

At 2022 International Convention, Foundation Chief Executive Officer Faron A. Lewitt, Psi (University of Alabama) 1997, presented a State of the Foundation update. Some highlights from the speech:

  • Net assets have risen by more than $10 million in the past five years, from approximately $5 million to more than $15 million.
  • In the same time period, academic scholarships granted are more than $100,000 greater, reaching $160,000 awarded to undergraduate brothers in 2022.
  • Brother Bret W. Hrbek, Delta Xi (Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University) 1996, President of the Zeta Beta Tau Foundation

    The Foundation provides grants for educational heritage programming to the Fraternity like the Combatting Campus Anti-Semitism Program and Chapter Heritage Grants. Zeta Beta Tau Foundation also provide grants for educational leadership programming at events such as International Convention, Virtual Officer Institute, James E. Greer, Jr. Presidents’ Leadership Academy and Emerging Leaders Institute.

  • The Foundation offers its own innovative programs such as the award-winning ZBT Live program.
