Psi (University of Alabama)
Keith Stephens, 2018, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and landed a full-time position in Nashville, TN with R+L Logistics.

Arizona

Alpha Omicron (University of Arizona)
After the spring 2018 semester, the chapter had 15 graduates. On April 28th, Alpha Omicron had a Chartering Ceremony with the Supreme Council, alumni and undergraduates. On July 28th, Alpha Omicron held a summer recruitment event in Phoenix with alumni and their sons attending the University of Arizona in the fall. The chapter received the runner-up for best alumni programming at the International Convention this year. The chapter is looking forward to having Ron Pardo’s, 1988, son, Jordan, join the brotherhood and become initiated with his father in August.

Dr. Steven Savlov, 1967, is celebrating his 50-year anniversary with his wife Suzanne who he met at the University of Arizona!

California

Alpha Delta (University of Southern California)
Brandon Warfield, 2018, graduated from USC’s highly distinguished acting program and was recruited by over 15 talent agencies and managers in Los Angeles, 3 of which are the best in the world.

Brett Giannota, 2004, is starting a new position as senior associate at Marathon Strategies.

Beta Pi (Long Beach State University)
Vince Ammirato, 1968, is now embarking on being a mediator for the legal community after 45 years of practicing law. Vince and his wife Nancy are enjoying their family and living at the beach in San Clemente, CA.

Gamma Beta (California State University ­­– Northridge)
Bruce Figoten, 1967, retired from being a Pharmacist and Chiropractor and now teaches part time as a Pharmacy instructor.

Connecticut

Zeta Theta (Western Connecticut State University)
Stephen Papallo is engaged to Nick Collins of Sigma Chi. The wedding will be September of 2019 and it will be the most amazing day of Stephen’s life!

 

 

Florida

Alpha Omega (University of Miami)
Santiago Rodriguez, 2013, started a new job as an Estimator Engineer with Americaribe LLC, a Bouygues Construction company.

Norman Waas, 1982, just completed his first term as International President of Zeta Beta Tau and was elected by the undergraduate brothers to a second term. He was also recently elected Treasurer for the Miami Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).

Michael Weissberg, 1989, graduated in July from the American College of Education with an Education Specialist degree in leadership with a 4.0 GPA. Brother Weissberg was selected to receive the Alumni Achievement Award and gave the commencement address.

Eta Rho (Florida International University)
Juan Gilces Coronel, 2016, transitioned to Boston, MA for a new job as Director of Community Relations at the Consulate General of Israel to New England, overseeing the mutual cooperation between community partners in the 6 states of New England and the Israeli Consulate.

Illinois

Delta Lambda (Monmouth College)
Brendan Murphy, 2012, and Carla Jakubowski and are to be married June 1st of 2019.

Gamma (Northwestern University)
Dan Golden’s, 2003, company, Be Found Online, was honored as #138 on the Entrepreneur list of the Top 360 Entrepreneurial Companies in America.

Louisiana

Sigma (Tulane University)
Jonathan Brehm, 2003, celebrated his daughter’s first birthday on June 15, 2018.

Derek Bednarski, 2006, joined Solitude Capital Management in Hong Kong as COO.

Doug Jacobs, 1977, has a new grandson, Cole Matthew Jacobs, who was born on July 13, 2018 to Bryan and Ali Jacobs.

Joel Steinberg, 1956, won the C.D. Taylor Award from the Tulane Medical Alumni Association for Outstanding Service in the field of Medicine.

 

Michigan

Beta Epsilon (Michigan State)
Sanford Layne, 1964, was a Real Estate Developer in Detroit and Ohio and has now retired to Los Angeles, CA.

Missouri

Omega (University of Missouri)
Martin Frost, 1964, was elected President of the Former Members of Congress Association (FMC). There are 700 living former members of the U.S. House and U.S. Senate. This is a two-year term. Brother Frost served in the U.S House of Representatives from 1979 to 2005 and is the only Jewish Congressman ever elected from Texas.

New Jersey

Beta Delta (Rutgers)
Alvin Felzenberg, 1971, has written a new book, A Man and His Presidents: The Political Odyssey of William F. Buckley, Jr. (Yale University Press.) The book is now available in paperback as well as in audio and hard copy versions. Below is a link to it on Amazon.

Edwin Samuels, 1958, had a hole in one at Osprey Point Golf Course in Boca Raton, FL on June 28, 2018.

Omicron (Syracuse)
Ryan Blum, 2014, started an international real estate tech company called Study Abroad Apartments and was recently acquired by Roomi.

Eta Gamma (SUNY Oswego)
Matthew Vollmer, 2006, completed an M.S. in Media Arts and Technology at the Rochester Institute of Technology. For the upcoming fall semester, he has been accepted at the University of Buffalo for a Ph.D in Communication Studies.

North Carolina

Alpha Pi (University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill)
Ishmael Bishop, 2016, is currently employed at Revolution Messaging as a Digital Strategist in Washington, DC. He works on campaigns that positively impact the material conditions of people of color, women, low and no-income people, people who work in the service industry and many others.

Eta Sigma (Elon University)
David Campbell, 2013, is celebrating the birth of his first child, Lillie Beth Campbell, born on 7/29 weighing 7lbs 15oz. She is everything they have ever dreamed of!
