Accredited Chapters: ZBT is proud of the chapters who were certified through our Standards of Excellence program last year. 2025 accredited chapters are noted herein. These groups have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the highest standards in Zeta Beta Tau by pursuing and achieving operational excellence and dedication to brotherhood and will be in contention for International Awards at the upcoming 2026 International Convention.

Alabama

Psi (University of Alabama)

Brothers hosted a Charity Cup golf tournament with two other fraternities in early March, with proceeds benefitting CMNH.

Arizona

Alpha Omicron (University of Arizona)

Moms’ weekend was at the end of February. Brothers enjoyed showing their families around Tucson.

Gamma Tau (Arizona State University)

Philanthropy week supported The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation through a car wash, beach volleyball tournament and a few dine to donate nights. More than 30 brothers were on the Dean’s List from fall. Gamma Tau welcomed one of the largest spring recruitment classes in recent history, with 22 new brothers.

California

Alpha Delta in Southern California

Brothers are involved across campus, with investing/finance groups and club sports among the most popular organizations. Brother Ben Melnick, 2028, is the vice president of finance for the IFC. Formal had a Kentucky Derby theme and several social events were successful.

Alpha Rho (University of California-Los Angeles)

Brothers are involved with Jewish organizations on campus and have an active social life.

Alpha Eta (University of California, Berkeley) – ACCREDITED

Brothers took home the annual Super Bowl trophy, Brother Eli Rubel, 2028, was MVP with 3 touchdowns. Six brothers got CPR certified through the American Red Cross. The Chapter supports the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation. Brotherhood retreat was in Yosemite National Park. The house received a few key upgrades.

Beta Lambda (San Diego State University)

More than 40 brothers were on the Dean’s List from fall – congratulations! They partnered with a sorority to host a cleanup day at Imperial Beach in March. Brotherhood retreat was to a sand dune area near the Mexico border.

Eta Mu (California Polytechnic State-San Luis Obispo) – ACCREDITED

A team of brothers won the IFC league soccer championship. Formal was in Las Vegas. The chapter raised more than $18,000 for Hawthorne Elementary School through Get on the Ball week, car wash and more.

Eta Upsilon (Santa Clara University)

Parents Weekend was in early March. Brothers had a ski weekend in the Lake Tahoe area.

Gamma Xi (University of California-Santa Barbara)

Brotherhood bonding to start the year in January included a ski weekend and a senior class trip to Big Sur. Before finals, the Chapter had a mental health speaker from the ManKind project.

Colorado

Beta Alpha Theta (University of Colorado Boulder)

Brothers enjoy the mountains and sports like snowboarding. Moms Weekend was in March, celebrated with bagels, yoga and puppies. The Chapter supports IFC charitable and service activities.

Iota (University of Denver)

Several brothers studied abroad in early 2026. Iota needs your help to grow its  strong, historic, and values-driven brotherhood on campus. If you know any students attending or starting at DU, please submit their names to ZBT.

Connecticut

Eta Omicron (Quinnipiac University)

The Chapter won the dance marathon’s Minutes for Miracles relay games contest in February. They got in the March Madness spirit with a basketball tournament with another fraternity, proceeds benefitting The B+ Foundation.

District of Columbia

Phi Alpha Alpha (The George Washington University) – ACCREDITED

Brothers enjoyed taking part in a sorority’s “Puppy Phiesta” as some canine friends came by the house in February. A major March brotherhood event — paintball — was enjoyed by all. The Chapter is consistently active with Chabad, including co-hosting an annual Greek Shabbat with other Jewish fraternal organizations. Get on the Ball was April 9.

Beta Psi (American University) – ACCREDITED

Philanthropy week was in mid-April, featuring Get on the Ball, Pie a Brother and a cookie sale.

Delaware

Epsilon Theta (University of Delaware) – ACCREDITED

The ballers in Epsilon Theta finished off a perfect 8-0 intramural men’s basketball season with a league championship. Congrats!

The Chapter was the top fundraising fraternity at the UDance marathon supporting The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation.

Florida

Alpha Zeta (University of Florida) – ACCREDITED

The Chapter has the fourth highest GPA among IFC groups. This year’s ZBTahiti philanthropy volleyball tournament in March raised more than $12,500 in support of The B+ Foundation, Children’s Miracle Network and Jewish Women International.

Alpha Omega (University of Miami) – ACCREDITED

The chapter has a great ongoing series of alumni panels. In February, they heard from Dr. Arthur Simon, 1965, and Lewis Freeman, 1971, about longevity as brothers.

Philanthropy week was in early April with donations benefitting the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

Zeta Alpha (Florida State University)

Brothers hosted a challah bake and history of Jewish foods with Chabad and invited Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. Brother Garrett Lyon, 2026, was honored this spring for having the highest GPA among all IFC members.

Delta Iota (University of Central Florida)

Delta Iota raised more than $10,000 with the ZBTahiti Sweetie Competition, earning them the top fundraising team during KnightThon for Children’s Miracle Network.

Delta Omicron (University of Tampa)

The Chapter, paired with Sigma Delta Tau, won first place in the Greek Variety Show that was part of Greek Week. Brothers provide service and support to TRIBE nonprofit community center.

Gamma Chi (University of South Florida)

The brothers of Gamma Chi had a great year participating in philanthropies and winning several sorority events, helping raise over six figures for various charitable causes that USF Greek Life supports. Brothers are regulars at Chabad, including programs and challah bakes.

Georgia

Eta Lambda (Emory University)

The Chapter won the intramural basketball league and soccer.

Mu (University of Georgia)

Brothers raised $2,500 for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta through strong participation in UGA Miracle Dance Marathon. Several chapter members are leaders in prominent UGA campus activities and government.

Kennesaw State University

This new chapter has been an immediate active member of the Interfraternity Council. The Chapter had its first Get on the Ball in April. Brothers enjoy spending time together, games, sports and the outdoors.

Illinois

Gamma (Northwestern University) – ACCREDITED

Congratulations to Gamma for being named top IFC Chapter of the Year for 2025-2026. Brothers are glad to have the house back, hosting hang-outs like sports watching, poker tournaments and shows with a band comprised of brothers! They volunteer at a local shelter that helps meet the needs of those struggling with housing. A team of brothers defeated three other teams to win the spring IFC basketball tournament. The Chapter was featured in campus media for co-hosting a Holocaust memorial service to mark Yom HaShoah.

Rho (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign)

Brothers are very involved across campus, from academic clubs to Chabad to on-campus jobs. They are winners in many intramural and club sports.

Delta Lambda (Monmouth College) – ACCREDITED

The Chapter had an Egg a Zeeb contest to support CMN later in spring. Family weekend was in March with an outdoor cookout, silent auction and dinner. The Chapter has consistent events, both for brothers only and with fellow students, like movie nights and casual sports.

Mason Reed, 2026, was named one of the top IFC presidents in the country by the North American Interfraternity Conference.  The Outstanding IFC President Award recognizes IFC Presidents whose leadership has been a driving force for growth, positive change and interfraternalism on their campus. Brother Reed also was profiled in local media for taking part in a ZBT national program last fall, Israel Now. Congrats, Brother!

Loyola University of Chicago

This brand new Chapter is looking to grow. They partnered with Hillel to host a Ratatouille themed Shabbat and have been connecting with other Greek organizations on campus.

Indiana

Alpha Alpha (Purdue University) – ACCREDITED

The seventh annual Bryant Gaines 3v3 basketball tournament was in March. Moms Weekend was in April. Nearly 50 brothers were on the Dean’s List for fall and spring. John Laskey, 2027, served as Vice President of Membership for the IFC.

Beta Gamma (Indiana University)

The Chapter is very engaged in philanthropy, both in supporting fraternity/sorority community initiatives like Dance Marathon and a mental health organization. Beta Gamma hosted their own event early in the term, raffling off tickets to a Hoosiers men’s basketball game with proceeds going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Kansas

Epsilon Mu (University of Kansas) – ACCREDITED

Brotherhood Olympics in April included friendly competition, teamwork and camaraderie. Spring philanthropy week raised more than $2,000 for the B+ Foundation through Pie a Zeeb, flag football and a car wash. Dads weekend was in February.

 

Kentucky

Alpha Iota (University of Kentucky)

The first-semester brothers of Alpha Iota had the second highest GPA among all IFC groups from fall. Get on the Ball was in April and the Chapter raised money for B+ Foundation through the year. Brothers celebrated Passover with a Seder.

Louisiana

Sigma (Tulane University)

Brothers partnered with Alpha Epsilon Phi for two events at Chabad in March. A philanthropy supported United Hatzalah, the Israeli volunteer-based emergency medical services organization, and the students enjoyed baking challah together as well.

Massachusetts

Omicron (Tufts University)

Brotherhood retreat was mid-April in the Hamptons. Brothers enjoyed the pool, a cookout and bonfire. Spring formal was a dinner cruise. Tufts police are good partners, regularly providing risk management education.

Theta Alpha (University of Massachusetts-Amherst)

Participating in Greek Week, the Chapter and its partners raised funds for a local community meal program, Not Bread Alone. Caleb McKearney, 2026, served as Vice President of Finance for the IFC. Hunter Boden, 2028, is the IFC Vice President of Standards for 2026. Brothers enjoy sports (playing and watching) and games like poker.

Xi (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) – ACCREDITED

Brothers love touring the city of Boston, and always remain committed to Intellectual Awareness and their studies. The Chapter hosted a Gift of Life swab drive toward the end of the fall semester.

Epsilon Phi (Brandeis University)

The Chapter hosted a social event benefitting an eating disorder awareness organization in early March, partnered with a sorority.

Gamma Psi (Northeastern University)

The Chapter had a great spring philanthropy, a LinkedIn headshot photo shoot. For a donation to The B+ Foundation, each student who attended could get a new photo for their social media profile. Late in fall, brothers enjoyed the outdoors at a brotherhood retreat in a cabin, where they played football, went hiking and hosted a brotherhood cooking competition.

Maryland

Beta Zeta Epsilon (University of Maryland – College Park) – ACCREDITED

Brothers had a retreat in Delaware toward the end of the semester. They are very involved in intramural and inter-chapter sports leagues and games, and for fun play paintball, go to major sporting events and enjoy dinners. They hosted Chabad for a kosher BLT meal in April.

Eta Kappa (Towson University) – ACCREDITED

Philanthropy week in April had a ZBTahiti theme, with beach volleyball, water balloon throws and lemonade sales to support B+. The Chapter also co-hosted a 5K run/walk, Miles for Miracles, in support of CMN, and participated in Tigerthon.

Michigan

Beta Epsilon (Michigan State University)

Brothers are into sports, both supporting the Spartans and playing casual games. Beta Epsilon could use alumni and recruitment support. To submit names of potential brothers or connect with the chapter, contact ZBT.

Phi (University of Michigan)

This newly returned chapter continues to grow and engage with the campus community. Brothers co-hosted the Hockey for Hearts charity classic benefitting international health care for children. They supported a Gift of Life swab drive in March.

Missouri

Alpha Xi (Washington University-St. Louis) – ACCREDITED

The Chapter’s stand at the Thurtene student-run carnival won best food, serving fresh tacos and quesadillas.

Omega (University of Missouri) – ACCREDITED

Philanthropy Week included Get On The Ball in support of Children’s Miracle Network. The chapter hosted a senior banquet, Moms Weekend and formal at Lake of the Ozarks in March. Greek Week was in February and the chapter and its partners came in fourth.

New Jersey

Beta Delta (Rutgers State University of New Jersey) – ACCREDITED

Beta Delta hosted Gift of Life swab week in February that culminated in Orange Shabbat, our signature heritage education-philanthropy program with Gift of Life. Many student organizations participated in ZBTahiti week, including a banner contest. The Family and Alumni BBQ in late March was well attended and fun was had by all. Congratulations to Ryan Hopp, 2026, on being named IFC Outstanding President of the Year, and to George Economides, 2026, on receiving the Pillar Award at the OFSA Award Banquet.

Epsilon Tau (Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham)

Philanthropy Week included several game nights and a ZBQueen contest. The annual Airband event was a success. Brothers are very involved and social on campus.

New York

Kappa (Cornell University) – ACCREDITED

Brothers enjoy through retreats, intramural sports, and shared service. In April they partnered with a sorority to offer a dining fundraiser for Prevent Child Abuse America.

Omicron (Syracuse University)

The Omicron Chapter values brotherhood and academics. Brothers enjoy spending time together, whether it’s watching or playing sports, grabbing a bite to eat, or simply hanging at the house. The Chapter said in an IFC profile that they appreciate creating memories and bonds that last a lifetime.

Eta Iota (State University of New York-Plattsburgh)

Brothers swabbed for Gift of Life in March.  Congratulations to Brothers Zabdiel Wahlang, 2028, and Graham Kramer, 2027, for their induction into Gamma Sigma Alpha Honors Society for academic achievement.

Epsilon Delta (Binghamton University)

The Chapter had a concert fundraiser for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in February, featuring several local bands. The event more than raised $1,000. Alumni weekend in April was enjoyed by many brothers.

Epsilon Nu (State University of New York-Oneonta)

Brothers participated in the Out of the Darkness Campus Walk for suicide awareness at the end of the semester. ZBT Alumni Weekend in mid-April at a local tavern was very well attended. The Chapter is a strong partner to Gift of Life at Oneonta.

Epsilon Gamma (University of Albany)

Brothers turned out to cheer for athletes at the unified showcase. They prioritize career and leadership opportunities within the chapter and have a rich social life, both within the chapter and with other student organizations.

 

 

North Carolina

Eta Xi (University of North Carolina at Charlotte)

Ten brothers were on the chancellor’s list for fall and another 12 earned Dean’s List recognition. A team of brothers won the intramural basketball league.

Eta Sigma (Elon University)

The Chapter raised more than $3,500 for charity last year, through several events that included Get on the Ball. More than 20 brothers studied abroad for the January term. Brothers engage in a variety of service projects but many take part in a university program that has activities and tutoring for local elementary-schoolers.

University of North Carolina at Wilmington

Brothers volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in late February. The Chapter was nominated for new organization of the year on campus.

Alpha Pi (The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill)

The Chapter hosted Get on the Ball early in January, raising more than $1,000 for CMNH. The newly returned chapter also celebrated its first graduate, Teddy Halloran, 2026.

Ohio

Lambda (Case Western Reserve University) – ACCREDITED

The Chapter hosted a panel with recently graduated alumni, who spoke to the undergraduate brothers about their transition from school to the job market. In February a few of the brothers participated in a CPR training and received a certification with support from the Interfraternity Council. The Chapter is holding its own over this term in the Greek Games events, and won the rope  pull contest.

Nu (The Ohio State University)

Brothers have fun social events like ping pong and practical jokes and the ZBT Olympics, with other students invited as they look to grow their presence on campus. They are involved with the IFC and Hillel.

Pennsylvania

Theta (University of Pennsylvania)

Toward the end of the fall, Brothers gathered around a campfire to engage in open conversation, storytelling and informal reflection focused on strengthening interpersonal relationships within the chapter.

Alpha Nu (Muhlenberg College) – ACCREDITED

The Chapter hosted a Gift of Life swab drive in March. Brotherhood retreat in the woods was enjoyed by all. Formal was at Dave & Busters, with games and more. The Chapter co-hosted the Israel birthday party at Hillel in April.

Alpha Psi (Pennsylvania State University)

Almost 90% of the Chapter has a GPA over 3.0. Brothers average eight service hours per person annually. The Chapter is very involved in Thon activities and fundraising year-round, and the ZBTahiti and ZBIza events were huge.

Beta Phi (University of Pittsburgh)  – ACCREDITED

Twenty brothers earned Dean’s List recognition from Fall 2025, and Beta Phi has the highest GPA in the IFC for the last academic year. Jonah Geisner, 2026, was named Fraternity Man of the Year! Brothers continue to care for a section of highway, adopted by the chapter several years ago.

Beta Alpha Chi (York College of Pennsylvania)

The Chapter attended Sigma Delta Tau’s Purim party, with a lesson on the holiday and hamantaschen. The popular Sister of the Semester contest supports Jewish Women International. Brother Ian Lubenow, 2027, served as IFC President.

Alpha Tau (Franklin & Marshall College)

The Prospective Chapter maintains a 3.3 GPA. Brothers had two Gift of Life swab drives in the spring.

Bucknell University

The future chapter has a highly engaged founding leadership team and a strong relationship with Chabad and active participation in campus Jewish life. ZBT looks to establish a formal working relationship with the university in the next academic year.

Rhode Island

Rho Iota (University of Rhode Island)

Teams of brothers won two intramural championships, football and soccer. The Chapter hosted a strong Philanthropy Week to support the Nicholas Wilborg Foundation, which supports children and families affected by cancer. Events included a field day and a car wash. Devin Stevens, 2029, earned the Emerging Leaders Award from the IFC. More than 20 brothers were on the Dean’s List from fall.

Tennessee

Alpha Gamma (Vanderbilt University)

A team of brothers won the intramural basketball championship. The Chapter raised more than $3,000 for B+ Foundation over the year.

Gamma Mu (University of Memphis)

The Chapter is very involved in supporting other student organizations, such as co-hosting a sumo wrestling inflatables fundraiser in support of Children’s Miracle Network with the Asian American Association,  Brotherhood events included bowling and game nights.

Texas

Lambda (University of Texas at Austin)

About a dozen brothers ran the Austin Marathon together in February. Great job! Brothers had an intra-chapter golf scramble in April and celebrated Passover together. The Chapter is extremely philanthropic as a whole and involved in hosting and participating across campus. Major events like Flop and other social times are enjoyed by many.

Zeta Lambda (Stephen F. Austin State University)

This newer chapter had a great first year. Moms Weekend was in February and Greek Week was in April. Brothers love outdoor activities – done together, of course – and watching and playing sports.

Virginia

Delta Xi (Virginia Tech)

Teams of brothers are very successful in intramural sports, including football, basketball, softball and soccer. The Chapter hosts alumni panels via video, allowing more brothers to participate, talking about growth and leadership to help the brothers in the chapter.

Wisconsin

Alpha Kappa (University of Wisconsin-Madison)

The annual ZBTahiti week raised $20,000 for Manny’s Band Foundation, which works to prevent suicide in youth. Events included dine to donate, a band, Pie a Zeeb, and a DJ. Dads Weekend was in March. Brothers have an intra-chapter basketball league. Just after Finals, many brothers went on a Birthright trip to Israel with Chabad.

Ontario

Zeta Eta (University of Western Ontario) – ACCREDITED

The chapter hosts regular philanthropy and social activities that support good causes, such as research and awareness of breast cancer and other cancers, men’s health and mental health. Brothers love pickup sports like basketball and hockey. They

In late fall they had an educational progressive dinner with hosted courses and guided values-based prompts regarding risk reduction.
